印度文化節《少年派奇幻漂流》之婆羅多舞蹈團台灣巡演
「2013印度文化節」重金禮聘，邀請來自李安大導演《少年派奇幻漂流》電影演出的女主角阿南蒂及Sridevi Nrithyalaya(SND)舞蹈團，分別於今年11月起，在台北市、新北市、台中市、高雄市有五場的演出。以古典婆羅多舞演出印度神話及奇幻漂流舞蹈劇。部份場次將和台灣印度舞蹈團，分別呈現印度古典舞蹈和寶萊塢舞蹈傳奇，盛況可期。希望各地朋友把握良機。 
表演藝術人文美學之最
印度婆羅舞蹈是印度七大古典舞之一，SND的創辦人Seheela博士，致力於印度舞蹈的傳統與創新，將印度史詩注入了當代元素，在舞作中表露無遺，膾炙人口的作品深受觀眾喜愛，博得印度藝評家一致肯定。作品中精致典雅和內心複雜的情感展現，透過爐火純青舞蹈動作和瞬息萬變的情感氛圍，可窺見一種恆古的古典氣質，但又不失赤子之心和表演藝術人文美學。
舞蹈團經常受邀國外演出，2012年代表印度在倫敦奧林匹克演出，贏得世人的讚賞

印度寶萊塢傳奇
百年的印度電影年產量上千部，超越好來塢居世界第一。善用印度史詩神話及載歌載舞的特色，不只獨步全球深受台灣影迷喜愛。
2013年李安的《少年PI的奇幻漂流》是寶萊塢、好萊塢及台灣合作的典範。印度電影從默片黑白彩色從本土到跨國的電影傳奇，不僅是電影史，也是印度人文歷史的縮影。《印度電影昨日今日》以《印度母親》《寶萊塢生死戀》《貧民窟百萬富翁》《如果•愛在寶萊塢》《三個傻瓜》具有指標性電影，邀請台灣各大印度舞蹈團以MTV方式呈現寶萊塢傳奇。

Indian Festival Taiwan “Life of Pi” Bharatanatyam Dance Troupe Culture tour in Taiwan
“2013 Indian Festival Taiwan” is proud to announce that this year, we have invited the renowned Sridevi Nrithyalaya (SND) dance group and its most famous member, the actress who plays Anandi in director Ang Lee’s Life of Pi. They will be performing at five shows this November in Taipei, New Taipei City, Taichung and Kaohsiung. The Bharatanatyam performances will depict classical Hindu mythology and as well as dance drama from the movies. Some of the shows will also involve Taiwanese Indian dance groups performing classical Indian dance as well as Bollywood dance. It promises to be a grand series of events, and a rare opportunity not to be missed.
Sub-heading / Performing Arts, the best of human aesthetics
Bharatanatyam is one of the seven major classical dance forms of India. The group SND was founded by Dr. Sheela, who is committed to the Indian dance tradition and its innovation. She brings in a contemporary element into the Indian epics creating popular works that have won the hearts of her audiences as well as the acclaim of other artists. Refined movements show complex emotions consummating in elegant dance moves. Viewers can get a glimpse of the classical dance form and enjoy the elegant beauty of the stories depicted.
SND is often invited to perform abroad, and in 2012 the group represented India during the London Olympic performances, where it won worldwide appreciation.
